Asset Logistics Management Professional

Our client in the Stratford Area is
currently seeking an Asset (Logistics) Management Professional. This person
will act as embedded Asset Management Professional by supporting the successful
operation of the contract within the client’s facility.
Principle responsibilities include:
- Receiving,
inspecting, expediting and report management for all repairs within the
client’s facility.
- This
position provides logistical and transactional services to the client to
support the program’s goals and objectives.
- Providing
timely repair/renewal parts services and innovative problem solving to
issues involving asset management, capacity utilization, regulatory
compliance and operation efficiency.
- Ensure
appropriate paperwork for shipments is completed in a timely manner.
- Initiate
orders in AMP software and sales orders while ensuring appropriate
comments and billing.
- Expedite
repair orders to ensure required turnaround times are met.
- This
position requires mobility in an industrial, plant floor environment. The
position will be further subject to the client’s plant safety
requirements. The position may require the lifting and transporting of
components and boxes up to 40 pounds in weight without assistance from
others.
The successful candidate will have a
College diploma in business or related discipline or equivalent industry
training and experience and further education and training in logistics is an
asset. You will also have 3+ years’ customer service and/ or logistics
experience, preferably gained in a service oriented environment and a strong
working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and Access. Previous experience with
an AS400 system is also an asset

Our customer in Southwestern Ontario is
seeking a qualified individual to act as embedded Asset Management Professional
by supporting the successful operation of the COMPANY contract within the
client’s facility. Principle responsibilities include receiving, inspecting,
expediting and report management for all repairs within the COMPANY facility.
This position provides logistical and transactional services to the client to
support the COMPANY program’s goals and objectives. Identifies new commercial
opportunities for Asset Management and GSS products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensure the successful operation of the COMPANY contract within the client’s
facility by receiving, inspecting and recording relevant information for all
repairs within COMPANY facility, including warranty information for the
duration of the contract.
2. Acts as a representative of Company Automation to the customer providing
timely repair/renewal parts services and innovative problem solving to issues
involving asset management, capacity utilization, regulatory compliance and
operation efficiency.
3. Creates a competitive advantage for RA by providing consultative,
transactional and analytical services to the client including gathering
relevant product data and creating metrics reports and databases that would aid
in project status reports.
4. Initiate order in COMPANY software and sales order in RACAP ensuring
appropriate comments and billing.
5. Expedite repair orders to ensure required turn around times are met.
6. Ensure appropriate paperwork for shipments is completed in a timely manner.
7. Maintain systems and processes that ensure costing and reporting metrics
requirements are accurately and efficiently captured.
8. Provide competent, professional representation of the Asset Management
products and services to the client.
9. Identify new commercial opportunities for Asset Management and GSS products
and services and escalate accordingly.
10. This position requires mobility in an industrial, plant floor environment.
The position will be further subject to the client’s plant safety requirements.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• College diploma in business or related discipline or equivalent industry
training and experience.
• Further education and training in logistics is an asset.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years’ customer service and/ or logistics experience, preferably gained in
a service oriented environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and Access. Previous
experience with an AS400 system an asset.
• Ability to work independently at a client’s facility.
• Ability to make presentations to potential and existing clients and
management, defining potential opportunities.
